Curriculum

Future School provides students a well-rounded education by covering seven core topic areas in its curriculum. Language, math, science, the arts, technology, morals & ethics, and physical education represent a few of these disciplines. Every one of these subjects is essential to fostering students' moral, intellectual, and personal growth.



Teaching plan related to my major

We have a schedule of practicum teaching provided and made by Dong Thap University that assigned us to the Future School. Although I am very nervous because this is my first demonstration with high school students, I maintain a positive view that this attempt will not only be exciting but will also have a significant impact on my path toward a career in education. The subject assigned to me is History of Grade 8 and Grade 9, which aligns with my major, which is social studies. 

With the guidance of my supervisors and advice of my fellow inbounds and buddies, I prepared and studied well the topic assigned to me to deliver a comprehensive and enriching learning experience for the students, I enjoyed and learned more about the topic assigned to me, it new knowledge and I carefully planned each session, using interactive assignments to ensure active student engagement. 

As a result, I am confident in my ability to engage and motivate the students. I have been looking forward to adapting methods of teaching to meet different learning styles. Additionally, I am focused on improving my classroom management skills, which will help me progress as an educator.

Future School (My first stepping stone)

Future School, also called Trường Tương Lai, is a private school in Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province, Vietnam, that aims to develop ambitious learners. Through a partnership with a German educational institution, the school provides students with the opportunity to continue their education in Germany. Although English is a major priority, the school mostly employs Vietnamese, with multilingual signs in German and Vietnamese.  Future School has wide and modern facilities, such as air-conditioned rooms and specialized classrooms for sports, music, English, IT, and the library. There are also internal roads, a library, sports fields, gardens, and a swimming pool that support the learning of the students in the Future School Uniforms aren't necessary, Some students can wear civilian or ordinary clothes, the class period per subject is approximately 40 minutes, and students are given sleep breaks.
